Behind Fox and Finch

Fox and Finch Designs grew from something I have always loved—the simple, personal act of giving someone a handwritten card or note. There is just something special about choosing the right card, putting pen to paper, and taking a few moments to let someone know you are thinking about them.

After retiring from a career in education, I found myself with a little more time to explore my creative side. I began making cards as a hobby, experimenting with paper, color, stamping, watercolor, die cutting, embossing, and other techniques. Before long, I was making cards for birthdays, celebrations, thank-yous, holidays, and all of those everyday moments when a few thoughtful words can mean so much. Fox and Finch has donated cards to nursing homes, churches, schools, families, and Creative Kindness, who help those in need through handmade creativity.  Check out their website - Creative Kindness Foundation

As I shared my cards with family and friends, their encouragement helped turn a hobby into something more. They encouraged me to share my creations with others—and Fox and Finch Designs was born.

Today, each Fox and Finch card is individually designed and handmade with care. Because no two people or occasions are exactly alike, I especially enjoy creating personalized cards that reflect the recipient—their interests, personality, hobbies, favorite colors, or the special occasion being celebrated. Whether you choose an existing design or ask me to create something especially for you, my goal is to make a card that feels uniquely personal and meaningful.

And sometimes a card becomes more than a card. Many of my designs are created to be beautiful enough to display on a desk, tuck onto a shelf, or even frame as a small piece of art—a lasting reminder of both the message and the person who sent it.

Fox and Finch Designs is ultimately about connection: celebrating the joyful moments, offering comfort during difficult ones, saying thank you, encouraging someone who needs it, or simply reminding a person that they matter.

I am incredibly grateful to the family and friends who encouraged me to take this little creative leap—and to everyone who chooses to support my small business. I love and appreciate each one of you!

Made by hand. Shared from the heart. Made to connect.

With Love,

Antonia
